Bridger Aerospace is an aerial firefighting company based in Belgrade, Montana, located at the Bozeman Yellowstone Airport (KBZN). It was founded in 2014 to support front-line firefighters with world-leading technology and aerial fire suppression systems. About the Role:

Bridger Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated individual who can work well under pressure to meet quick deadlines with little outside guidance and supervision. In this role, you will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and overhaul for our CL-215T fleet of aircraft.

This position works a 12 on / 12 off day schedule year-round, there is no requirement to live in Belgrade, MT.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform maintenance and inspections on CL-215T aircraft, engines, propellers, and components.
  • Perform heavy maintenance checks at home base (Belgrade, MT) in the off season. Travel with aircraft to various fire base locations during fire season.
  • Perform unscheduled maintenance and troubleshooting in a field/AOG environment.
  • Read and interpret technical publications such as maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalogues, service bulletins, engineering orders and airworthiness directives.
  • Completes maintenance records in accordance with FAA and company requirements.
  • Maintain work order status using Winair or other maintenance tracking software.
  • Capable of working independently or with a team as required.
  • Perform engine ground runs and taxi tests.
  • Maintain work area and tool control in Accordance with Company Standards and Procedures
  • Maintain your company training requirements and follow all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain Ground Support Equipment (GSE) used in the field for maintenance.

Available Roles:

Tech II – A&P or AME license required. 2+ years of aircraft maintenance experience. Ability to complete basic maintenance tasks with no supervision. Understands and demonstrates basic troubleshooting methods/skills.

Sr. Tech - Minimum one year of CL215T/415 experience and certificate from OEM maintenance training course required. 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience, 2 years minimum maintaining aircraft in a field/AOG environment. Demonstrates a strong sense of responsibility. Ability to complete complex maintenance tasks with no supervision. Understands and demonstrates advanced troubleshooting methods/skills.

Requirements:

  • A&P or AME License Required.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport.
  • Ability to pass a DOT drug screening.
  • Ability to be insured on company vehicles.
  • Ability to Travel to Canada, Europe, or other international locations, as needed.
  • Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations (FAR).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under no supervision and high pressure.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Personal tools required when working in Belgrade, MT only. Company tools are provided for any work away from home base.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
