Multifaceted job requiring flexibility and quick adaptation to an ever-changing work environment. The individual must be well organized, detail oriented, safety aware, self-motivating, critical thinking, and work well as part of a team. The individual will be expected to communicate well with all divisions of the company and help organize the distribution of company owned fleet while promoting safety and efficiency. Individual will be expected to maintain Bridger Ground Support fleet, keeping fleet running safely and in optimal working condition.

Reports to: Senior Manager, Bridger Ground Support

Attendance Expectations: Full time position. 40-hour work week is standard, with occasional after-hours, weekends and holidays being required. Travel as needed.

Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to; the appropriate candidate will have a proven track record of preforming all or most of the below tasks):

  • Maintenance, upkeep and inspection on all Bridger Ground Support fleet, to include: Mobile Repair Units (MRU), company vehicles and supporting equipment, such as generators and hot pressure washers
  • Maintenance and upkeep including oil changes, fuel filters, air filters, tire changes, lube changes, washing of vehicles etc.
  • Complete Mobile Repair Unit (MRU) truck and trailer build outs and preform inspections throughout the season
  • Help others ensure safe and proper movement of aircraft
  • Help with facility maintenance, operational safety, and as a general helping hand around campus as needs arise
  • Operate forklift, tractor, and other equipment
  • Ability to travel on short notice – field work may be required during fire season
  • Ability to perform duties as a CDL driver may be required during fire season

Required Job Qualifications:

  • Maintenance experience, preferably on large vehicles and/or equipment
  • Computer operating skills, Microsoft Office helpful
  • Clean driving record, must submit to a DOT FMCSA drug screen and query
  • Travel experience is beneficial
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time

Preferred Job Qualifications:

  • CDL Class A
  • Construction/building experience – carpentry skills
  • Forklift training/certification a plus

This position requires obtainment of an AOA Badge issued by Bozeman-Yellowstone Int’l Airport.
