Bridger Aerospace is seeking a Fuel Farm Technician/Facilities Assistant. As a Fuel Technician safety must be always your priority. Experience in the petroleum field is not necessary. Training will be provided, and you will also be asked to remain current on that training as needed. The Facility Assistant performs daily facility operations responsibilities to assist the Facility Manager and staff members, complete facility walk throughs, position will assist with maintaining a safe and enjoyable facility environment, while serving as a point of contact for contractors and access controlfor the facility. Other duties may be assigned by the manager.
Reports to: Facilities Manager
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- The management and operation of bulk aviation and ground fuel storage and distribution systems/facilities.
- Testing of fuel, ensuring that all fuel received and maintained at the facility is always on specification.
- Documenting and maintaining the electronic maintenance and inventory records for the facility.
- Receiving, storing, and issuing petroleum products via tank truck.
Maintenance of the fuel facility includes changing fuel filters, ohming out cable, sumping fuel tanks, etc. - Handling and disposing of used and recyclable fuel products.
- Assist the Facility Manager with completing daily tasks.
- Monitor and assist 3rd party contractors with facility access.
- All other duties assigned as by the Facility Manager, supervisor, and other staff members.
Job Qualifications:
- Availability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, rotating weekends, holidays etc.
- Good oral and written communication skills; strong attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task and think critically.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to effectively monitor and communicate with contractors, guests, and staff.
This position requires obtainment of an AOA Badge issued by Bozeman-Yellowstone Int’l Airport.
