Bridger Aerospace is an aerial firefighting company based in Belgrade, Montana, located at the Bozeman Yellowstone Airport (KBZN). It was founded in 2014 to support front-line firefighters with world-leading technology and aerial fire suppression systems. We have grown from operating a single plane to commanding a significant Air Attack and the largest Super Scooper fleet in the U.S. in less than eight years.

About the Role

Bridger Aerospace is seeking a Procurement Manager with a background in procurement and supply chain management. The candidate must be detail oriented, possess excellent organizational skills and be familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software. In this position you will manage the procurement for our fleet of aerial firefighting aircraft and mobile repair units (MRU). The candidate will spearhead the procurement process from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization as well as provide guidance on sourcing and the procurement process.

Reports to: Supply Chain Manager

What You’ll Do:

Oversee all Purchasing Functions within the company.
Acts as the company’s representative in negotiations with suppliers.
Convert requisitions to purchase orders and place purchase orders with suppliers and principals.
Manage purchase orders, address and resolve issues in a timely manner, keeping internal departments involved.
Work with Finance Department on ensuring credit terms are established.
Work with Quality Department on ISO compliance and audits as it pertains to the Purchasing department.
Maintain strong vendor relationships, track performance and provide vendor feedback.
Create and manage team standard processes as well as team metrics to support company growth and internal customer satisfaction.
Track and report on key functional metrics to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the purchasing team.

What We Are Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Operations, or Supply Chain.
3-5 years of experience in Purchasing, Planning, or Supply Chain preferred.
6-8 years of overall experience.
Manager or Supervisor experience.
Work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to learn quickly from past experiences and able to use those experiences in handling new situations.
Skilled in Microsoft Office and ERP Systems, with strong expertise in Excel.
Experience in WinAir and Flight Docs systems preferred.
Ability to work overtime and be on rotation for weekend support.
