Bridger Aerospace is an aerial firefighting company based in Belgrade, Montana, located at the Bozeman Yellowstone Airport (KBZN). It was founded in 2014 to support front-line firefighters with world-leading technology and aerial fire suppression systems. We have grown from operating a single plane to commanding a significant Air Attack and the largest Super Scooper fleet in the U.S. in less than eight years.

About the Role

Bridger Aerospace is looking for a Paralegal to support the company’s growing corporate legal needs. In this dynamic role you’ll work with leaders and teams across all Bridger’s entities. This position reports directly to Bridger’s Chief General Counsel and will be responsible for supporting the execution and management of Bridger’s legal obligations and requirements. We’re looking for a team player with strong communication skills and a willingness to take on complex challenges in a fast-paced environment. Our Legal Team plays a central role in the successful execution of Bridger’s mission and growth. This position is based at Bridger Aerospace HQ in Belgrade, MT and is full-time.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare legal documents, checklists, and reports for transactions such as financings, mergers conversions, dissolutions, and acquisitions
  • Conduct legal review of contracts, proposals, non-disclosure agreements, and operating agreements
  • Prepare and obtain work authorization and manage company visa application and tracking system for international employees
  • Support the draft and review of company polices
  • Prepare and maintain legal project files and documents
  • Communicate regularly with executives and stakeholders regarding the status of projects
  • Create, manage, and maintain entity registration and registration renewal process
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis or perform other assignments as requested
  • Provide administrative support to the Legal Team

What We Are Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or legal secretary (preferably in a corporate legal department)
  • Associate degree in paralegal studies, an ABA approved paralegal certificate, or a bachelor's degree preferred
  • SEC filings experience a plus
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Ability to function well in a rapidly changing environment and balance multiple requirements concurrently
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion and good judgment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently, manage large workloads, and keep deadliness
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to work effectively and minimize errors in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven leadership ability and willingness to lead others
